A pair of Murray Turtles (Emydura macquarii), also known as Murray Short-necked Turtles, soak up some sun on a log in Gunbower Creek. This was a common sight along the waterways in Gunbower Forest, however trying to get a photo was quite a challenge! They are a very shy animal and the slightest movement on the bank will send them sliding into the water. EXIF: Canon EOS 30D : 1/400 sec : f 7.1 : 400 mm : ISO 160
